A Look Outside My Window

I look outside my large, white painted bedroom window. My eyes focus on the world outside the black window screen.
The sky is a bright blue, dotted with white puffy clouds. The grass in our narrow front yard is overgrown and bright green from a whole week of rain. My little blue car sits parked on the road on front of  wide stone steps leading to our front porch. The front lawn is bisected by an old, cracked, brown and tan colored sidewalk that sits in stark contrast  with the newly paved road that sits just several feet from our front porch.  A large brick  church occupies nearly the whole block which lies  on  the other side of the  road. The same sidewalk that lines our block also lines that one.A grassy field lies to the right of the building. A small rectangular area of the field is enclosed by a red and white fence and inhabited which encloses an old rusty air unit and a tree whose branches peak over the top. I can see the beginnings of a stone staircase on the right side of the church leading up to a side door.
Curtains fill several windows. I can spot two small pots of yellow flowers which sit on the inside ledge of one of the ground floor windows. Two of the church's back doors are also visible from my window. A pair of green trash cans stand like sentry soldiers a few steps away from the right most door. Several windows away to the left, the other back door is sheltered by a rectangular awning held up  by  rusted metal beams.
I can see a parking lot across the road from the church to the right. Beyond that, more neighborhood houses. A Peruvian flag hangs  from a white house  where loud Spanish music is known to be playing loudly. Siting on the porch of a little yellow house by the nearby the rail road tracks, a man relaxes in the sunshine and mild temperatures of early fall. Wooden electricity  polls are scattered throughout the neighborhood.Power lines are stretched between poles like staffs on a music sheet. I can hear the sound of cars and trucks traveling on the busy road on the left side of  our block. The occasional car honk interrupts the gentle hum of car engines and the light sound of tires speeding over pavement.
